Big changes for the Small Animal Show...

..as Mr Burgess is inagurated as show president

The biggest event in the small animal world has a brand new name, new president and a new look to mark the 89th two-day event taking place on January 29th - 30th 2011 at the Yorkshire Event Centre, Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate.

Previously known as the Bradford Championship Show, the newly named Burgess Premier Small Animal Show www.thesmallanimalshow.co.uk is the UK's longest running and largest small animal show in the UK. Burgess Pet Care, already title sponsors of the show for more than six years, has strengthened its partnership with the show's organisers with a five-year six-figure support deal for the showcase event.

Approximately 3000 cavies, gerbils, hamsters, mice, rabbits and rats attend the show, making the Burgess Premier Small Animal Show the biggest small animal event in the UK. With Burgess Pet Care's investment in a new brand for the show, a new website, new marketing literature, and a greater number of attractions and events taking place over the two day event, the show looks set to be a 'must see' for every small pet owner.
