The Countdown Begins to the UK's Biggest Small Animal Show
With less than a month to go, until the best of Britain's small animal breeders meet to compete at the Burgess Premier Small Animal Show, fanciers up and down the country will be making those last minute preparations to ensure their small animal is a champion!
With over 3,000 gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rabbits and rats, it really will be a great day out for all the family. Whether you're looking to compete, trade or just attend the show, it's a fantastic weekend for people who are passionate about small animals.
This year's show is set to be one of the biggest in the shows history, thanks to new marketing investment from Burgess Pet Care. The carpeted trade area of the show will feature an array of new exhibitors like All Creatures Healthcare, Hay 2 Straw 4 Pets, Lynn's Jewellery, Mark of Esteem, Mount Lemish Products, Paw Prints, Scot Pet Direct, The Chocolate Fondue Company, plus many more.
Increased opportunities for businesses to become involved in the show as trade exhibitors have proved popular, but the event will see a number of long standing traders who have supported the show for a number of years, including Allen and Page, Animal Mad, Aylesbury Trophies, Bradshaw Timber Animal Housing, Bunny Nature, Dawson's Animal Housing, Dee Millen Rabbit Accessories, Dust Free Hay, Furries T-shirts, John Hopewell Animal Drinking Systems, Just Boxes, Marsdens Rabbit and Guinea, Runaround, SPH Supplies, Stockman's Friend and Winking Cavy Store.
Naomi Chatterley, marketing manager at Burgess Pet Care, said: "We've had a lot of interest in this year's show and I'm sure it will be one to remember. Our renovated trade hall will not only see a variety of exciting traders, but will hold our showcase square activity zone which will provide entertainment through the weekend to engage with show visitors."
The Search Continues for Acts with the Pet Factor?
New to this year's show is the showcase square activity zone, which will see the best rabbit jumpers from Sweden and England compete in a show stopping display. This central hub of activity is fast becoming a highlight of the show, hosting a fantastic line-up of entertainment events and acts throughout the weekend. However, the show organisers are still in search of acts that have the 'Pet Factor' and would like to be a part of the showcase square line up!
